About me

Kristel Saxton (she/her/hers) is an award winning photographer currently living in the Midwest of the United States. Kristel has exhibited her work in numerous galleries and in publications across the Midwest and internationally.

Kristel knew she loved photography from an early age. She is a self-taught photographer specializing in nature, landscapes, family and travel photography. She uses DSLRs, her cell phone camera and a drone as tools in her photography toolkit. She uses her background in education to support and encourage other photographers and direct her family sessions.

In her fine art photography her eyes are drawn to textures, the fabric of our world. While overlooked by most they are the driving force and inspiration for Kristel and she hopes to bring them out of the background of experience for my viewers to experience them in a different way.
